We are so grateful to Lucy at Five Gait Farm for allowing us to use Alfur, who oozes type and balance, with an outstanding temperament. Both dogs have never met a stranger and have excellent “off switches” in the house, but great drive and mental stamina when working. Alfur has just started his show career and is over halfway to his championship with both majors - one earned from a group placement and one by taking winners dog and best of winners at the ISAA supported entry the day before the National Specialty. Puppies could be cream sable or black tri. Our waitlist is full for this litter. Our partners at 4Leaf Icelandic Sheepdogs and Tri-Star Icelandics are co-breeders on this litter.

Stokk-sels Álfur CGC FDC ATT TKN
Alfur is a stunning import from Iceland owned by Lucy Nold of Five Gait Icelandics in Oregon. Adrian and I met him at the Icelandic Sheepdog Association of America National Specialty in Washington in 2024. He is a beautiful boy, oozing type with well balanced structure and movement. His temperament is the real star, though - he has lived on a large Icelandic Horse ranch his whole life, but when he came down to Texas to stay with us for a few months, he moved into an apartment with two other male Icies and a Chihuahua. Despite the drastic change, Adrian says he's the easiest dog they've lived with. He settled in with ease, and has been working as a neutral/demo dog at their dog training job. He also started his show career with Adrian, and came out running. At his first show weekend, he earned a Group 4 from the classes, earning him his first major. His next show was a trip to Kentucky for the ISAA National Specialty week. The first day, he was winners dog and best of winners over a large class in the supported entry. On the day of the Specialty itself he was reserve winners under the esteemed Pat Trotter. We are so grateful to Lucy for letting this special guy visit Texas and sire a litter for us.
