In addition to training dogs and breeding the occasional litter, I offer pet photography in the DFW area! My primary focus is outdoor dog portraits, as seen above! My focus is getting beautiful, artistic images that capture your pet and everything you love about them. We will meet in a pre-agreed place and essentially "go for a walk," stopping to take photos along the way. We'll take a mix of posed and candid/action photos, as well as photos with you and your dog together. I often felt insecure about having photos taken of me, preferring the spotlight to be on my dogs, but now, I deeply treasure those photos where we are together, regardless of what I looked like. I love to shoot senior dogs and their owners, but I can't recommend enough getting photos at each stage of their life. I tragically lost a young dog at only 20 months old, and I couldn't be more grateful for the photos I have of her as a puppy and a teenager. Especially the ones of us together, showing our bond. PORTRAIT PRICING: At this time, I am offering one on one portrait sessions in the DFW area (I live north of Dallas but we will agree on a location to meet). We will generally spend 30-45 minutes together and you will receive 5 artfully edited digital images. The base price for this is $100. If we get additional photos beyond the first 5 you can purchase additional images for $5 each. Additional dogs are $25 a dog (and an extra five photos). We will work together to get the shots you want! I do not sell prints, but the digital files you receive will be high resolution/printable and you can order your own from your printer of choice if desired.
I also offer unique "silhouette" images of your dog. These sessions must be scheduled for after dark, and we need a certain amount of space - generally an empty or sparse parking lot does the trick. These shoots are priced differently and per dog.
SILHOUETTE PRICING: For a silhouette session, we will work to get a standing/"stacked" photo, a sitting photo and a running or jumping photo of your dog. Jumping photos will be offered for dogs that are trained in agility or obedience and have jumping experience, and dogs must be at least 12 months old for this option. You will receive three full resolution images for $50.
